Route 108 through Smugglers Notch
is CLOSED as of 11/3/2012. During the transitional seasons the notch can be closed by the State of Vermont Department of Transportation
at anytime due to inclement weather
There is a Winter Parking Ban in effect in areas posted - There is no parking between the hours of 12am
Midnight to 6am in posted areas. The ban is in effect from November 15th to April 15th. The ban is to allow street maintenance
and snow removal.
February 24, 2013 - Stowe Derby There will be an increase in overall traffic in town. Near the Cape Cod intersection the skiers
will be crossing Mountain Road . There will be snow down on the roadway for the skiers. Please abid by officer instructions
when traveling though this area.
