No police officer or police department ever works in a vacuum.  Just as an officer on the street can rely on backup from fellow officers, the Stowe Police Department is backed up by a wide variety of other agencies at the local, state ,and federal level.

On a daily basis the Stowe Police Department interacts with other local law enforcement departments such as the Morrisville Police Department, the Lamoille County Sheriff's Department, and Waterbury Police.  At the state level officers work with the Vermont State Police and the Vermont State's Attorney's offices.  Stowe officers also work regularly with federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, the DEA, and the Department of Homeland Security.  Finally, our officers work with community organizations that provide assistance to citizens in need.

Together, these agencies help the Stowe Police Department solve crimes, assist our fellow citizens, and protect our residents, guests, and children in the most effective possible manner.
